Member of the B&H Presidency dr. Denis Becirovic visited the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids in Visoko on Saturday, September 2, 2023. Becirovic visited the locations of the “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” Foundation, more precisely in the Ravne Complex, with his colleagues. During the visit, Becirovic visited the Museum of the Foundation, the prehistoric underground complex of the Ravne tunnel, the most visited tourist location in Visoko and ZDK, and he also enjoyed visiting the beautiful park “Ravne 2”.
The host was the founder of the Foundation and the discoverer of the Bosnian pyramids, dr. Semir Osmanagic, who took the member of the B&H Presidency through the locations and explained to him the complete history of the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids, from the discovery of the pyramids and tunnels to the present day. It was especially interesting in the park “Ravne 2” where Becirovic and Osmanagic tried their sports skills. Osmanagic celebrated in tennis, while Becirovic got revenge in basketball. After the visit, the member of the Presidency said that he was delighted with the time spent in Visoko and the tour of the great locations in the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids.
– People often like to talk a lot, and I think good communication is when people learn to listen. I listened carefully today and I am delighted. All that I have seen here in Visoko is the result of a man who has knowledge, vision and incredible persistence and a strong will. With the symbiosis of these four characteristics, we have something that we can boast about in the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. We will continue our cooperation, I hope that in the coming year the Presidency or at least one member could sponsor one of the events here. In this country we have to discover positive people and stories, this is an extremely positive story that deserves support from the state to the local community. – said dr. Becirovic after the visit.
And dr. Osmanagic was satisfied with this visit, saying that this is the third visit of a member of the B&H Presidency to the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids, and the late Sulejman Tihic and Haris Silajdjic had previously visited.
– These visits mean a lot to us, they speak of the legitimacy of the project and the interest of the country’s highest political officials, but they also speak of their support for a positive project. Denis saw the full seriousness of our project, visited the locations and expressed his desire to sponsor one of our events. We also talked a lot about the purpose of this place, where people come from all over the world, from all the countries of the former Yugoslavia, where one feels that this is a place without discrimination, a place where people feel at home. – said dr. Osmanagic.
