From year to year, the Archaeological – tourist – sports park “Ravne 2” becomes richer with more and more sports content, and based on this, it also received the epithet sports. During 2024, numerous sports events will also be held in the park “Ravne 2”.
The now traditional “Pyramid Trail” race is planned for June 2, 2024. It is a race whose start and finish are in the “Ravne 2” park, and the competitors run through the beauty of the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids and enjoy the unique atmosphere. Year after year, the number of registered competitors increases, so this year we expect a record number of runners from numerous countries. The race is scheduled for 02.06. from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The “Time Machine” installation is one of the contents of the park, which has numerous functions, and young handball players are used to playing handball at this place, so it will be the same this year. On June 29, 2024, a mini handball tournament “Pyramid Handball Cup” is planned, which will be held from 12:00 to 16:00.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and desire of Novak Đoković and Dr. Semir Osmanagić, the park also got two top tennis courts that were opened by the best athlete in the world, Novak Đoković, and the courts have numerous functions, from preparing young competitors to preparing top tennis players of the region, to exhibition matches. Last year, the “Pyramid Cup” tennis exhibition was held, and this year we are expecting several great tennis players at the “Pyramid Cup 2024”, which is planned for July 17 and 18, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Another handball event will be held in Visoko, and the closing of the International Handball Tournament “Pyramid Cup”, as well as the most solemn part of the announcement of the best and the awarding of medals, will be held in the park “Ravne 2” on August 30, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. .
The listed events are certainly only part of the sports events that await us this season in the most beautiful park in this region, because in addition to the listed events, there will also be basketball, football, chess, and other sports competitions and exhibitions.
